State Representative Lynda Schlegel Culver, 108th district, will be hosting staff of the Bucknell University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at her Sunbury office on October 14th to provide entrepreneurs with consulting services and information at no charge.
This one-on-one consulting emphasizes education to those interested in starting a new business or growing their existing small business. Consulting is confidential and provided at no charge. Typical business topics include how to start a business, financial analysis, hiring employees, bookkeeping, preparing a business plan, financial forecasting, and marketing strategies for growth.
Appointments are required and must be scheduled two business days prior to a meeting date. Aspiring business owners who are seeking to compete in Sunbury Revitalization Inc.’s 2nd annual Business Pitch Competition are especially encourage to attend. In this event, the SBDC will partner with SRI to bring an emphasis to economic development and business promotion in the Sunbury area.
